Thank you to all FPSC members who participated in and provided feedback on the 2007 Web conferences on using the FPSC reports. In response to your feedback, we are pleased to continue offering Web conference presentations and FPSC report demonstrations in 2008. Offered as part of your membership and open to all FPSC users, these sessions are designed to provide information on how practice plans are using the various FPSC reports as well as to demonstrate specific FPSC reports. The remaining schedule for the first half of 2008 is detailed below.
NEW!
Using the FPSC Reports to Help Inform Management of Your Department: A Session Geared for Clinical Department Leadership
May 7, 13, or 22
Are you looking for ways to measure your faculty’s clinical capacity, identify what may be affecting appointment availability for your patients, or support a proposal for expanding clinical services? The FPSC reporting tools provide data to inform both routine and strategic decisions that affect academic clinical departments. This 90-minute Web conference will include:
- Examples of using FPSC resources to inform the management of clinical departments
- Practical exercises and applications of the FPSC reports to support the work of department leaders
- Discussion
To allow maximum member participation, we will offer multiple sessions of each Web conference. The Web conferences have a capacity of 50 phone lines. Because there is no restriction on the number of participants from each institution, we encourage you to gather with your colleagues and join the Web conference via speakerphone and a single computer. Only 1 individual needs to register if multiple people will be participating from a single location. Additional details about technical requirements will be sent by e-mail upon registration.
